:D A representative from TelBru just gave me a call. Told me that I got into the top 20 for the Photo Hunt! YAYYY!! Because he mentioned “top 20”, instead of “top 10”—or even better, “top” 3 T_T—I’m assuming that I’ll be getting one of the consolation prizes. I don’t want to get my hopes too high as well, though I really want the first prize: Canon EOS 450D. Sigh.
Anyway, about the Photo Hunt event, which took place on the Sunday before the last Sunday: I had a fun day! Partly because the event was much more relaxing than I thought it would be—we were practically given the whole day to prepare and submit our 12 photos (3 for Task 1 and 9 for Task 2)—and partly because Syuk brought me and Ayub on an “outing” at the Tamu Kianggeh. It was sort of a spontaneous decision, and we also walked around the surrounding area.
All in all, we took a lot of photos! :D
Most of the time during the day, I used the B/W setting on my Sony A200 simply because that setting was conveniently there and I wanted my pictures to look more street photography-esque in black and white—I did this only for the “outing” pictures, though. I know that it would’ve been a better idea to take pictures normally and easily edit (or batch edit) them later on—Syuk advised me on this once—but I guess I’m just lazy, and perhaps a bit too stubborn for my own good. Haha.
And finally:
