Last Sunday, I managed to attend the cleaning campaign organized by the Brunei Beach Bums (BBB) at Meragang Beach.
I guess it was my first time at Pantai Meragang. The beach was nice. As usual, sampah lying here and there. There was a parking area, with a few old stalls selling fruits and vegetables.
Among all my friends, only Dao came to attend the third episode of BBB’s cleaning campaign.
Dao was pretty late, but I didn’t mind waiting for just over half an hour as I would’ve felt awkward kalau nada bedangan.
Compared to the “about 20 minutes of picking up rubbish” during my first time with the BBB (during the second episode) HOHO, this time, I managed to spend more than an hour!
I picked up two of the bottles
The weather was fine when we started, but it became less forgiving just after me and Dao finished picking up the sampah-sampah (by this time, most of the participants were done too), so we decided not to stick around for the next activity (segregating the collected rubbish) and went home.
I remember nearly stepping on a super-disguting rat corpse. Thank God I didn’t.
