Noobs Phishing

Thursday was a hot day and it was also our first ever ‘fishing trip’. We arrived at Sangai-sangai in Masin sometime around nine.

On the way, me, Bahri, Kahar, and Sim kinda got lost. I was trying to use a shortcut from Katimahar (my kampung) to Masin but ended up somewhere near Wasan (the padi place). Bahri, Kahar and Sim also suffered through listening to Korean music HAHAH.

I guess most of our time at Sangai-sangai was spent on preparing our ‘gears’ and not so much on actually fishing, partly because a man (picture below) suddenly told us that he wanted to use the platform we were using. We assumed it was his.

We were left with only one small platform (there were three platforms altogether, but only the last one was vacant). So we decided to go to Damuan.

At Damuan, there was more fishing. We tried our luck but to no avail. A few rubbish caught, but no fishes.

Because Damuan didn’t seem like a good place for fishing (maybe it was the wrong time of the day), we switched to Temasek. The place was kinda cool (but I left my camera in the car), macam syok kalau fishing sana, but we didn’t stay long and decided to just call it a day (after we had some yummy Indian food at Popular Restaurant).

So, all in all, a not-so-successful ‘fishing trip’!
