Fighting!

So PHEW, I just finished watching chick Korean drama Boys Over Flowers. To be honest, I actually stopped watching it perhaps two or three weeks ago—probably around episode 13—but then I figured that, since I’m like jobless and all, PLUS I needed at least something to watch *alasan*, I should just, you know, finish the whole thing.

Great storyline, great cast and a happy ending, but annoying repeats of songs throughout the whole 25 episodes (though some of the songs are good).

Does anyone else like watching moments when Geum Jan Di (the lead female) breaks into her warm smile or grin?

And Ha Jae Kyung (Gu Jun Pyo’s ex-fiancee) tops my ‘Boys Over Flowers Attractive Girls’ list.

There was one scene where Gu Jun Pyo’s kind grandmother was preaching to Gu Jun Pyo on being a man, and I really liked what she said:

Just because you were born male doesn't automatically make you a man.
Becoming stronger from losing, yielding even though it is unfair, running away even though it is shameful, overcoming a weak self-confidence over time;
That's how one becomes a real man.

But is it better run away, or to confront?

Despite taking up my (otherwise) free time and making me stay up even later at night, watching the series was worth it!
