LAKSAMANA FTW

MS Sports' Day is in 4 days. It's probably not something worth worrying about but a portion of me can't help but be concerned for LAKSAMANA of what's coming for the big day.

Firstly, there's the Laksamana Form 1 and 2's marchpass. I've watched them during one of their afternoon practices, there are good news but there's also bad news. The good news are: there are quite a lot of participants for the marchpass, AND, I can see that most of them are very 'semangat' in general. Despite that, the bad news is that the whole lot aren't really as synchronised or 'neat and sharp' as they should be.

Secondly, US the Laksamana lot ain't exactly one loud bunch. By loud, I mean it as in semangat for cheers and good support from supporters. What happened during the last school Cross Country is inevitably one good example of this lack of semangat. I have to admit, in the aspect of semangat from housemembers, I really envied the other houses, ESPECIALLY Hulubalang.

Thirdly (and probably the most I'm concerned about), is the Laksamana field performance, which involves me and a lot of my friends. We've gone through hard and worthwhile practices and I truly hope that we could get the 1st place, if not 2nd.

Anyway, friends from other houses say that our house has been the MOST secretive of all. That's a good thing though, 'cause you really shouldn't let people from other houses to take advantages on you. :p

I HOPE, I PRAY and I WISH, that the year 2008 will be the year for Laksamana to win the Sports' Day cup, partly because I love Laksamana and also due to the fact that Laksamana, for years and years and years, has never won the Sports' Day cup. It's my last year here and for once, I'd like Laksamana to WIN.

OK, this is actually making me a bit touchy, LOL.

We're dead serious but we understand that it's NO easy task, and there ARE chances, HIGH chances that we won't be able to gain what we seek for. But through lots and lots of effort and commitment, as well as luck, we might. But whatever the results will be, we have been taught to ensure and keep the spirit of sportsmanship (that means no boo-ing) for other houses, so regardless of getting the first, second, third or fourth place, we will cheer for the winning houses nonetheless. :D

A heart-warming (HAHA) quote from a friend:
"I sincerely want Laksamana to win saturday's event, it's gonna be a great fairy tale story. Still want Pahlawan to win, but not as much as I want Laksa to win, and no I'm not betraying the greens, just I think the blues deserve to win."
