World Environment Day

I didn’t know, or didn’t recall (since the day is celebrated annually) that yesterday, the 5th of June, was World Environment Day. Not until the imam mentioned it in yesterday’s khutbah.

So, um, HAPPY BELATED WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, and whether you’re an environmental person (both the pure ones and the bandwagon-jumping ones) or you’re not one (‘cause you don’t have to be green to be green, get it?), I hope we’ve all learned to conserve resources, reduce wastage, reduce pollution, keep our environment clean, and, you know, more green stuff.

As for me, I’ll keep trying to be less non-environmental!

As for you, from me, enjoy these “most creative environmental ads”:

This one’s supposed to show us how sea levels can affect (well, are affecting) humans

Just like the first one

How consuming fossil fuels leads to global warming

How deforestation (and desertification?) can affect animals
